so sorry to hear about Lynn passing, he was an ole friend of many, many years ago. I remember all the times we shared when he was married to his wife that passed shortly have childbirth. She was a loving, sweet, king young woman, and I miss her greatly, The loss now of both of them as touched me deeply. Your dad was adventurous, and had a daring soul. He lived his life the way he wanted too, and I had admiration for his spirit. I hope one day we will meet again. May God covet over your family lift you, give you strength. Lynn I have fond memories you of and your children, i have known you hardships through out life with loss, and struggles when you were young, I pray that that during life you found peace and happiness. May you continue to soar my friend.

While visiting in Troy, we received a call informing us of an accident that killed the 15 year old son of our best friend. Howard stated, "Dont put a question mark where God has placed a period." That statement has stuck, and helped me thru the death of his wife (my mother) and several others. Howard chose to be my stepdad, and "Papa How", to many. The positive influence he had in our lives will go on for many, many years. I truly wasn't ready for this period. I guess, Big Daddy was just ready to go home. My thoughts are with you and your family, Tammi. I can tell you this, it never gets better, but the hurt and pain, become easier to bear with the passage of time. Brenda Sullivan
and Family.

We had some great trips to Myrtle Beach for our annual golf outing. Our memories of Howard will be cherished for all times. He was a great, lovable, and gentle man. God rest his soul.

As I was growing up over the years in the 60' and 70's. My folks and Alma and Larue were good friends for years. I knew of Howard but never met him for Howard was. Off on his own. Just in the last year. I asked someone at the Moose Club in Canton who he was, he looked familiar to me sitting at the bar. As soon as I heard who he was , I went right over and introduced myself and we greeted like we've known each other for years. Out going spirit. I picked up on this. I brought my Mom, Audrey Thomas over and I asked if she knew this man. She thought see did. She was thrilled to speak to him again. Pleased except our deepest condolences. Take care! Howard I'm lost for words as this is one of my tragic moments in life. I know you are peace and not suffering but you were the rock for so many of the family. I also know you were greeted with open arms by our family. They all missed you so and now we will miss you also. Were there were six of us cousins, not there are 3, but I'm sure we will meet again and we all will be joined by Gods hand. Tammy I feel for you and I know your pain, you were a great daughter and Ginny were were a great little sister that could do no wrong in your brothers eyes. He was your protector growing up on the farm. We all have our great family memories that go back as far Grandma and Grandpa Knights! You R.I.P now and give those great bigs hugs to the family. Love you and gonna miss you >3

I remember the first time I met him...he was in town "for a couple hours" so both my mom and I left work early to meet and visit. Three days later he was still at the house singing Old McDonald Had A Farm with my daughter, Jill, then around 2 years old. He visited often after that, while on the road with his purple truck stopping for a few hours or few days.

His smile, mischievous glint in his eyes and warm hugs will surely be missed. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. Until we meet again, Uncle Howard.....
