Dear family of Jim, I am sorry to not be able to be at Jim's service. He was a colleague and friend in the former Central and NorthCentral conferences. I always enjoyed Jim's lively spirit and humor. We each enjoyed sailing and once had a sail in his boat on Seneca. I have missed him these later years, and deeply value the friendship we were able to have.

Jim was such a inspiration to me during my time of candidacy for ministry. I will always remember him with great fondness and gratefulness. He was truly a Man of God.
