I attended MSC from 1974-1978 as a math major and had the pleasure of having Owen Clark as a professor for several of my classes. Not only was he a great teacher, but he always had this positive exuberant energy every day and I mean every day. He even had us out to his farm in Sylvania once for a picnic and you could see his energy in the upkeep of the farm. While he was not my advisor at the time, he did provide great guidance and friendship. My condolences to the family but realize that his many impacts live on in the students (like myself) that he influenced over his teaching career.
