Trevor Stephen Vaughn Cooke

Trevor Stephen Vaughn Cooke, 26, of East Troy, PA passed away accidently on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the family farm.

Trevor was born on May 25, 1989 in Towanda, PA, son of Stephen P. Cooke and Trena Jennings.  He was a Troy High School graduate, Class of 2008 and was a member of the Future Farmers of America while in school.  After high school Trevor attended the Hiram G. Andrews Center in Johnstown, PA where he learned small engine repair.  His true love was the family farm and all the livestock there.  Trevor also enjoyed riding his four wheeler, playing video games and watching movies, hunting and fishing, and arguing with family and friends.  He attended Grace Fellowship Church in Troy.

Trevor is survived by his father Stephen P. Cooke of East Troy, PA, his mother Trena Jennings (Kenny Brown) of Springfield, PA, his brother Specialist Devin Cooke of Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, his sister Whitney Cooke of East Troy, his maternal grandparents Vaughn (Joan) Jennings, Jr. of Granville Summit, PA, and Janet Cooke of Pottsville, PA, his special great uncle and aunt Norman and Pat Fish of East Stroudsburg, PA, his canine companion Aiden James, his favorite cat Sh*t Head, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many good friends.  Trevor is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Donald and Patricia Cooke.

Family and friends are welcome to call from 12:00-1:00 pm on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street Troy, PA.  The family has asked that all attending please dress casual to honor Trevor.  The memorial service to celebrate Trevor’s life will follow the visitation at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 20th at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Alkire officiating.
