Shirley A. (Lawrence) Kenyon

Shirley A. Kenyon, 84, of Farmer's Valley Rd, Troy, passed away on September 19, 2024 with her family by her side. Born on January 4, 1940 in Mainesburg, she was the daughter of Edson and Maude (Hilfiger) Lawrence. Shirley attended the Mansfield Area Schools. On October 13, 1957, she married J. Richard Kenyon who preceded her in death on January 12, 2021. She worked for Ben Franklins, Tops, Bilo's, but loved babysitting the most. Shirley loved rollerskating, square dancing, crossword and dog puzzles, playing card games, getting together with friends and family, and watching her favorite baseball team the Yankees. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Troy. She is survived by her daughter Janet (Calvin) Crandle, of Troy, three sons: Jeff (Marcia) Kenyon, of Troy, Joey (Penny) Kenyon, of Columbia Crossroads, and Jody (Angie) Kenyon, of Troy, grandchildren Eric (Greta) Kenyon, Marsha (Darien) Weaver, Jason (SheaLeigh) Kenyon, Logan (Melyce) Kenyon, Lanaya Kenyon, Tyler Crandle, and her great caregiver Cody Crandle, great grandchildren: Nickolas and Bridgette Weaver, Aubree and Delaney Kenyon, Hunter and Haley Kenyon, Addy, Lylah, and Natalie Kenyon, sister Joan (Gene) Jackson, brother in law Ronald (Rhea) Kenyon, several special nieces and nephews, and very special friends. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Gene, Bob, Jack, Dick, Jerry, sisters Bette and Jeanne, and daughter in law Renee Kenyon. Keeping to Shirley's wishes, a graveside service will be held at the Glenwood Cemetery at the convenience of the family,  with her son, Pastor Jody Kenyon officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 1093 West Main Street, Troy, PA..
