Katherine Ann (Chrzan) Young

Katherine Ann (Chrzan) Westlake Young, Age 79, of Troy, PA passed away at home with her loving family by her side. Katherine was born December 17, 1940 in Troy the daughter of the late Frank & Margaret Mary (Hayes) Chrzan. She was a graduate of Troy High School and was formerly employed by American Silk and at Troy Lunch as a waitress for many years. She loved the outdoors, gardening watching wildlife out her back door and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her two daughters Laura Walmsley of Millerton, PA, Katrina Westlake of Troy, PA, step-daughters, Karen Vogler, Linda Young-Miller, Kathy Rose, Shelia Young-Pell, three sisters, Fran Johnston, Ann Polly, Marge Krise, four grandchildren, 2 ½ great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, two husbands, a sister Ike Stone and several other siblings.

Katherine’s funeral services are private and under the direction of the Gerald W. Vickery Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 1093 West Main Street, Troy, PA 16947.
