Connie L. (Vincent) Layton

Connie L. (Vincent) Layton, of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on November 2, 2024, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA, at the age of 62.

Born on October 5, 1962, in Troy, PA, Connie lived a life full of love, dedication, and generosity. She was the cherished daughter of the late Donald Paul and Charlotte Marie (Buck) Vincent. She was also preceded in death by her dear sister, Sherry Chamberlain. Connie worked as a devoted Care Giver at Martha Lloyd Community Services, bringing compassion and kindness to all those she served. Her career was more than a job; it was a testament to her nurturing spirit and her unwavering commitment to helping others. Outside of work, Connie found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved camping and vacationing by the ocean, where she could relax and enjoy nature's beauty. She had a green thumb and took pride in her garden, cultivating vibrant flowers and lush plants. Connie's love for animals was well-known, and she had a particular fondness for scary movies, which she often watched with a thrill. Above all, her greatest joy came from her family, particularly her grandchildren, whom she adored and delighted in spoiling.

Connie is survived by her devoted husband, Brian M. Layton; her loving daughters, Amber R. Layton of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, and Amanda S.C. Mulno (Michael Barton) of Jobs Corners, PA; and her treasured grandchildren, Dominic J. Ling, Wyatt Z. Mulno, Seth G.M. Barton, and Jordyn C. Barton. She will be deeply missed by her sisters, Joyce (Donald) Layton of Lawrenceville, PA, and Marguerite (Lewis) Hill of Troy, PA, as well as several nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
