Carol L. (Hutchins) Dziuba

Carol Louise (Hutchins) Dziuba, age 88, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2023, at The Gardens at Tunkhannock, surrounded by love. Carol was born on April 2, 1935, to the late Marshall and Bessie (Faux) Hutchins.  Carol was a former resident of Roseville, PA where she lovingly raised her four children with her late husband, Paul Dziuba, who passed away in 1998. Carol missed him every day after.

In addition to her husband and parents, Carol was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Diana (Dziuba) Wells; brother, Allen Hutchins; and son-in-law Ronald Ginther. 

Carol is survived by her brother, John (Kathy) Hutchins, Shavertown, Pa; sister-in-law, Sandra Hutchins, Tunkhannock, Pa; son, Steven (Glorianne) Dziuba, Millerton, Pa; daughter, Doreen (Edward) Flaherty,  Tunkhannock, Pa; daughter, Debbie Ginther, St. Marys, Pa; son-in-law, David Wells, Pensacola, Fl; grandchildren: Jason Ginther, Matthew Ginther, Kelly (Jon) Bennett, Krista Flaherty, Edward (Chelsey) Flaherty, Darin (Ashley) Dziuba, Danielle (Hagen) Kiernan, Dylan (Dana) Dziuba, Dallas (Kelsey) Dziuba, and Brandon Wells; and great grandchildren: Abigail Tonkin, Alison Stonier, Braylen Bennett, Thomas Bennett, Vander Dziuba, and Rose Kiernan; as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends who she loved like family. 

Carol took the greatest pride in her family. She always carried a photo album filled with the most recent pictures of her grandchildren and her pets to show off. Carol truly was a beautiful person and a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She never let anyone forget how much they meant to her and made everyone around her feel loved. Carol enjoyed attending church, listening to her family sing, spending time with her family and friends, and writing poetry. Carol loved all animals, especially her dogs Nettie, Mickey, and Minnie. 

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 AM to 11 AM Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 1093 West Main Street Troy, PA 16947. Carol’s service will follow at 11 AM with Reverend Ken Marple officiating. Following her service interment will take place in Bradford County Memorial Park, Luthers Mills, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Austinville Union Church, where Carol was a long-time member. 

The family would like to thank the staff at The Gardens at Tunkhannock for the wonderful care they provided Carol throughout her stay there. 

Immediately following the burial, a luncheon will be held at the Wildfire Grille & Taproom, 47 Leisure Drive, Towanda, PA 18848.
