Wilbur H. Barrett

Wilbur H. Barrett, Age 81, of Troy, passed away Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Troy Community Hospital. Wilbur was born February 11, 1935 in Springfield Township son of the late Warren and Beulah (Freelove) Barrett. He was a graduate of Troy High School and was married to Frances A. (Watkins) Barrett on February 11, 1955 and they had celebrated 61 years together.

Wilbur worked as a Dairy Farmer and at Judson's Feed Store in Columbia Cross Roads. He was also a Certified Milk Inspector and a member of the NFO. He enjoyed traveling, working in his shop with all of his tools, having coffee with his friends and also loved his cows. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and many friends.

Surviving are his wife Frances A. Barrett of Troy, two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Charles Perry of Columbia Cross Roads, Wendy and Robert Kupchin of Troy, three grandchildren, Jackie (Bob) McCoon, Daniel (Mel Hill) Perry, Skyler Kupchin, three great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, a sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Milton Ayers of Columbia Cross Roads, several nieces, nephews and friends. Wilbur was predeceased by his parents, and two sisters, Sharon Tedesko and Donna Long.

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 AM to 12 PM on Monday, November 21, 2016 at the Gerald W. Vickery Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street, Troy, PA 16947. Wilbur's funeral will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 12 PM with Mr. Robert Flippo and Mr. Bobby Sylvia officiating. Interment will follow in Bradford County Memorial Park, Luthers Mills.
