Timothy John Oliver, Sr., 39, of Troy PA, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the Troy Community Hospital.
Tim was born on May 2, 1976 in Sayre, PA, son of Howard James and Charlotte May (Winnie) Oliver, Sr. of Big Pond, PA. He was an auto mechanic at Meineke Car Care, enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles, and was an avid gun collector. Tim was Christian by faith.
Tim is survived by his parents, his children: Hayley (Nate) Kenyon of Troy, Timothy John Oliver, Jr. of Gillett, Dillion Charles Oliver of Gillett, Gabriella Ione Oliver of Gillett, Harlen Wright of Houghton Lake, MI, and Samantha Mae Oliver of Gillett, his grandson Parker Kenyon, his girlfriend Nellia Toomey of Troy, his step children: Emily, Travis, and Katelyn Toomey, all of Troy, his brother Howard James “Jim” (Tammy) Oliver, Jr. of Tioga, along with several nieces and nephews. Tim was preceded in death by his grandmothers Alice Mae Overacker and Bessie Hoover.
Family and friends are welcome to gather at 1:00 pm on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 2415 Monkey Run Road Gillett, PA for a memorial gathering to honor Tim’s life. The Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street Troy, PA has been entrusted with the arrangements. JohnSr.
