Sally A. (Holton) Howe

Sally A. Howe, 71, of Corning, NY, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at the Chemung County Nursing Facility, with her family by her side, after a brief illness.

Born on December 23, 1953, in Troy, PA, she was the daughter of Gerald and Lulu (White) Holton. Sally was a graduate of Troy High School, class of 1971.

Sally loved all animals, but especially her feline companions. She also loved her home, flower gardens, and shopping for antiques and collectibles.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Hall, of Sayre, PA, grandchildren: Ciera, TJ, Jordan, and Lyndsey, three great grandchildren, brother Gary (Teresa) Holton, of Southside, WV, sister-in-law Susan Bombacie, of Waverly, NY, several nieces and nephews, and many close friends.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Larry and Gerald Holton, and long-time companion Ray Easterbrook.

There will be a public visitation on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 10-11AM with a celebration of life to follow at 11AM at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc, 1093 W. Main St., Troy, PA, 16947. Burial will take place at the Bradford County Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
