Olive M. Frost, 86, of Columbia Crossroads, passed away on May 26, 2024 at the Bradford Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born on February 27, 1938 in Columbia Crossroads, and was the daughter of Mark and Dorothy (Garrison) Watkins. Olive was a graduate of Troy Area High School, class of 1956. Immediately after graduation she started working for her father who owned Watkins Farm Services and then Marshall's Feed Mill in Elmira. Olive was then employed at Paper Magic where she then retired from. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family, and traveling with her daughter to many of the community events in the area. Olive loved to volunteer and make soup at the Maple Fest. She had many passions and music was one of them. Olive could play the piano, the guitar and other instruments. For her 8th grade graduation, she played the graduation song for her class. Olive was also a member of the Columbia Crossroads Grange. Olive is survived by her daughter Diane Frost, sisters Arlene (Steve) Gates, of Gillett, Janice (Darryl) Rebuck, of Montoursville, sister-in-law Joyce Watkins, brother-in-law Thomas Borgeson and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Lazelle Watkins, and sisters Gladys Mell and Agnes Borgeson. Family and friends are invited to call from 6:00-7:00 PM on June 6, 2024 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 1093 W. Main St., Troy, PA, 16947. The memorial service to honor Olive's life will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 7:00 PM with Jennifer Grady and Hannah Bythrow will be officiating. Burial will take place at the convenience of Olive’s family.
