Norman D. Weaver, Age 57, of Troy PA passed away Friday, October 24, 2014 in Sunbury, PA. He was born July 15, 1957 in Waverly, NY son of the late Donald & Jean (Kropp) Weaver. Norman was a graduate of Troy High School class of 1975.
Family and friends are invited to call Wednesday 10 to 11 AM at the Gerald W. Vickery Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street, Troy, PA. His service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 11 AM with his longtime time friend Pastor Almon Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Bradford County Memorial Park.
Survivors include his daughter and her fiancée Jodi (Chris Rolls) Filling of Canton, two sons, Matthew Weaver of Troy, Dennis (Elizabeth Earle) Weaver of East Troy, five grandchildren, Rachel, Julia and Joshua Filling and Rylee and Eathon Weaver, brothers and sisters-in- Law, Donald (Ginger) Weaver of San Antonio, TX, George (Mary) Weaver of Towanda, Manford (Robin) Weaver of Waverly, NY, his sister and brother-in-law, Carol (Harry) Marbaker of Milan, PA, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Norm was predeceased by his parents, a brother, David Weaver, and his infant sister Nancy Weaver.
Norman was a member of FFA Green Hand, Chapter, County and Keystone Degrees. He was also a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a skilled gunsmith. He was an avid shooter and he followed the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates along with NASCAR. His favorite NASCAR drivers were Bill Elliott and Mark Martin. One of Norman’s greatest joys in life were his grandchildren.
