Linda Lee (Heib) Manley

Linda Lee (Heib) Manley, 72, of Gillett, PA passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019 at her home. She was the loving wife of Thomas P. Manley. The couple married June 28, 1969 and had 49 happy years together. Linda was born on March 8, 1947 in Elmira, NY, daughter of the late LeRoy D. Heib and Betty (Congdon) Heib Holton. She was a 1965 graduate of Troy High School and went on to get a business degree at Elmira Business Institute. Linda enjoyed woodworking and crafts, gardening and tending to her flowers, and liked watching birds, especially humming birds.

Linda is survived by her husband Tom, her children; Stephen Manley and Jennifer (Brian) Chamberlain, both of Gillett. Her grandchildren: Bethany Manley, Rachael Manley, Courtney Chamberlain, Brandon Manley, Aaron Manley, and Sarah Chamberlain, her great granddaughter Sailor Frey, her sisters Jan Van Gorden of Horseheads, NY and Mary (Don) Gorst of Elmira, NY, her step brothers Brett (Lori) Holton of Elmira and Kevin (Diana) Holton of Armenia Mountain, PA, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her step father Tim Holton.

Per Linda’s wishes there will be no services. The Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 1093 West Main Street, Troy, PA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
