Linda L. (Lee) Bruce, age 57, of Troy, PA, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loved ones on November 30, 2023. She was born on August 26, 1966, in Troy, PA, to the late William B. and Ruth M. (Swem) Lee.

Linda dedicated her early adult life to serving her community as a Teacher's Aid for the Troy Area School District. She found immense joy in supporting her son's sports activities, including wrestling, football, and baseball. Linda also loved spending quality time with her family and friends and was known for her warm and welcoming nature. Shawn has the heart-warming memory of Linda still having a smile on her face as she passed away.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Shawn D. Bruce, her two sons, Zachary (Kelsa) Bruce of Troy, and Nicholas (Samantha) Bruce of Sayre, as well as her stepdaughter, Terri Bruce of Granville, PA. She leaves behind a legacy through her six beloved grandchildren: Peyton, Evelynn, Bailey, McKenna, Serenity, and Paige. She is also survived by her sisters Katherine Kauffman of Washington Boro, PA, Alice Brown of Canton, PA, Marjorie Patry of Troy, PA, and her brothers Robert Lee of Troy, PA, William Lee of Carlisle, PA, and Thomas Lee of Troy, PA along with sisters-in-law Dori Bruce and Lori Davis, brother-in-law Scott Bruce, and mother-in-law Carol Anderson.  Linda is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Susie Lee, Margaret Terrel, Barbara Jennings, Donna Roberts, Scott Lee, Charles Lee, and brothers-in- law Ivan Patry, Timothy Jennings, Ken Brown, and Carson Kauffman. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Clark William Roberts, sister-in-law Shirley Leonard, and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held in honor of Linda on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 12:00-1:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM at her childhood church Leona Open Arms Ministry, located north of Route 6 on the Leona Road in East Troy, PA with Pastor Jody Kenyon officiating. The Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 1093 West Main Street Troy, PA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
