Kenneth W. Mott, Age 74, of Columbia Cross Roads passed away peacefully in his own home on Friday, October 6, 2017 surrounded by his family and close friends. Ken was born in Snedekerville, PA on September 3, 1943 son of the late Franklin and Myrtle (Brackman) Mott. He was a graduate of Troy High School where he was active in FFA during his school years. Ken retired from Toshiba where he worked in the Quality Control Department he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Ken also raised hens and sold eggs at his stand “Ken’s Hens”. He was a member and attended the Victory Church in Troy and loved the moments he spent with his family and friends.

Surviving are his children, Beth Slaughter of Columbia Cross Roads, Michael Mott of Troy whom gave exceptional care to their dad in his final years and Kevin Mott of Neunan Georgia, six grandchildren, Daryn, Alan, Brittany, Kevin, Jr., Theressa and Erica, a brother and sister-in-law, William (Joanne) Mott of South Carolina, sister and brother-in-law, Doris (Harold) Sergeant of Converse, Texas, several, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ken was predeceased by his parents.

Family and friends are invited to call from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 1093 West Main Street, Troy, PA 16947. His service will be held at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor John Wile of the Victory Church officiating.

Memorials in Ken’s memory may be made to the Animal Care Sanctuary, 353 Sanctuary Hill Lane, East Smithfield, PA 18817.
