Kathy Lynn (Kress) Roloson

Kathy Lynn (Kress) Roloson, affectionately known as Kathy, passed away on September 12, 2024, at Troy Community Hospital in Troy, PA at the age of 71. Born on April 7, 1953, in Elmira, NY, she led a life filled with love, devotion, and a passion for her family and many interests.

Kathy was a dedicated homemaker who took immense pride in creating a warm and welcoming home. She had an incredible talent for cooking, a skill that brought joy to countless family gatherings and events. In her leisure time, she enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening, often sharing these activities with her beloved grandchildren. Kathy cherished every moment spent with her family and friends, making lasting memories that will be treasured by all who knew her. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 45 years, Dale L. Roloson, and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Dale; her children: Heather (David) Wilcox of Wellsboro, PA, John TenEyck of Troy, Sabrina TenEyck of Bellefonte, PA, and RayCo TenEyck of Hornell, NY; stepchildren: Steve (Dana) Sterling of Elmira, NY, and Sandy Sterling of Florida; her cherished grandchildren: Sadie Wilcox, Alannah Anthony, Justin Wilcox, Logan TenEyck, Micah Dinelli, Harry TenEyck, Jasmine Wilbur, Danay Shepherd, Titania Shepherd, Merle Shepherd, Tucker Sterling, and Luna TenEyck; and her 14 beloved great-grandchildren. Kathy is also survived by her brother, Terry (Shirley) Kress of Gaines, PA; sisters, Karen Dickson and Peggy Westfal both of Bath, NY; and several nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly. She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul B. and Norma I. (Moon) Kress; sister, Tana E. Kress; and brother, Paul "Ernie" Kress.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of Kathy’s family. The Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 1093 W Main St. Troy, PA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
