Judy Renee (Larson) Warn, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Troy, PA, on October 4, 2025. Born on February 25, 1944, in Temple TX, Judy lived a life full of love, dedication, and service. She was 81 years old.
Judy shared a beautiful marriage with her Husband, James T. Warn, with whom she celebrated 60 wonderful years. Together they built a loving family, including their son, Kenneth James Warn of Silver Spring, MD, and their daughter, Erica Ann (Michael) Sammaciccia of Valencia, CA. Her legacy continues through her cherished granddaughters, Ava, Mia, and Isla. Judy is also survived by her dear sisters, Carol Harris of Greeley, CO, and Mardi Merry of Golden, CO, along with several nieces. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Earle A. and Margaret L. (Asbridge) Larson, and her treasured granddaughter, Lily Ann.
Judy’s career included work at the Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph Company in Denver and for Mercy Health in Philadelphia. In her later years, she found her true calling by serving others as active crisis counselor for the ARCC, offering support and guidance to women including those in prison. Her compassion knew no bounds, as she lovingly knitted caps for newborns and veterans alike.
A true genealogy enthusiast, Judy delighted in tracing her ancestry, uncovering stories of her family’s past. She was also a proud member and past president of the Heritage Garden Club in Troy, PA, and served as the director of Region 5 for the Garden Club Federation. Her patriotism and dedication to history were further reflected in her membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Judy earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology, which she utilized not only in her career but also in her personal endeavors and community involvement. Her contributions to the Troy Borough Zoning Board showcased her commitment to her community.
Judy’s warmth, kindness, and generosity will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. Her family plans to celebrate Judy’s remarkable life at a later date, surrounded by those she loved and who loved her in return. The Gerald W.
