John Muhrl Howland
April 19, 1914 — July 31, 2015
John Murhl Howland, Age 101, died Friday, July 31, 2015 at the Bradford County Manor in Troy, PA. He was born April 19, 1914 in Sabinsville, PA son of the late John S. and Frances E. (Mack) Howland. Murhl dedicated and spent his life sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with others for 79 years. He ministered in PA, NJ. NY, ME, NH, VA, AL and MS. He will be greatly missed by all those he loved and served.
He is survived by a brother, Lauris Howland of North Fort Myers, FL and many nieces and nephews.
Murhl was preceded in death by three sisters, Donna Stahli, Sybil Young and Charla Howland.
Friends are invited to call Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 12 to 1 PM at the Gerald W. Vickery Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street Troy, PA 16947. The funeral service honoring his life will be held following calling hours at 1 PM at the funeral Home. Interment will be 10 AM, Wednesday, August 12, 2015 in Riverside Cemetery, Knoxville, PA.
