Glen K. Boor, of Gillett, PA, passed away on May 14, 2026, at the age of 69 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. Born on January 10, 1957, in Elmira, he was the cherished son of the late James M. and Eleanor (Watson) Boor.
Glen dedicated much of his life to hard work and service. He spent years as a farmer in his beloved community before transitioning to work in maintenance at the Elmira Psychiatric Center, where he was known for his diligence and dedication.
Beyond his professional life, Glen had a passion for bow hunting and was an avid fan of both college and professional football. He found great joy in spending quality time with his family and friends, creating memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.
A man of faith, Glen attended Victory Church of Troy, PA, where he found spiritual nourishment and fellowship. His belief in the values of kindness, love, and community were evident in how he lived his life.
Glen is preceded in death by his loving parents, James M. and Eleanor Boor, and his sister, Carolyn Mosher. He leaves behind a devoted wife, Diana G. (Eubanks) Boor, who stood by his side through life's journey. Glen's legacy continues through his children: son Ethan Boor, and daughters Jackie Krise, Nicole Tobias, and Lyndsey Teets. He was a proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his later years. Glen is also survived by his sister Lynn Schultz, brothers Dennis and Dale Boor who shared in many of his life’s moments.
A celebration of Glen's life will be held at a later date at Victory Church, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and the impact he had on their lives.
