Frederica A. (Bolt) Barrett

Frederica A. (Bolt) Barrett, 92, of Gillett, PA, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Towanda Personal Care Home.
Frederica was born on September 3, 1923 in Burlington Township, Bradford County, PA, daughter of the late Fremont and Alice (Barrett) Bolt. She was retired from Corning Glass after 38 years in the Big Flats, NY Plant. Frederica attended Gillett Baptist Church and Gillett Senior Center, and enjoyed going to casinos and wintering in Florida.
Frederica is survived by her daughter Joline (Samuel) Heath of Laceyville, PA, her three grandchildren: Tim (Harriet) Heath, Terri (Gary) Thomas, and Trina (Dan) Heath, five great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters and brothers: Minnie McCaslin, Harold Bolt, Claude Bolt, and Laura Clark, along with her best friend Betty Seeley.
Family and friends are welcome to call from 12:00-1:00 pm on Friday, March 18, 2016 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street Troy, PA. The funeral service to honor Frederica’s life will be held at the conclusion of the viewing at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. James Belt, officiating. Burial will follow in Gillett Cemetery.
