Elizabeth D. "Betty" (Koebel) Geisler

Elizabeth D. “Betty” (Koebel) Geisler, 95, of Columbia Cross Roads, PA went to be with her Lord on Monday, August 17, 2015 from her home with her family by her side. Betty was the loving wife to the late Raymond C. Geisler who passed away on September 19, 2000.  The couple married March 18, 1950 and had 50 happy years together.

Betty was born on April 7, 1920 in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late Fred and Doris Koebel.  She was a former member and sexton of the First United Methodist Church of Troy, former member of Victory Church, and current member of Fellowship Bible Church.  Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Betty is survived by her son: Raymond (Eva Loretta) Geisler, Sr. of Taylors, SC, Ken (Barb) Geisler and Larry (Dot) Geisler, both of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, her grandchildren: Raymond Geisler, Jr. of Albuquerque, NM, Rob Geisler of Asheville, NC, Larry (Chrissy) Geisler of Wichita, KS, Krystal (Jared) Seymour of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, Josh (Meghan) Geisler of Lynchburg, VA, and Stephanie Geisler of Omaha, NE, fourteen great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.  Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raymond, one brother and five sisters.

The memorial service to honor Betty’s life will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Fellowship Bible Church 121 Mud Creek Road, Troy, PA.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street, Troy, PA.
