Dorothy W. (Bauman) Kent

Dorothy W. Kent, age 87, died at her home Wednesday, May 14, 2025 with her family at her side. Daughter of William Lester Bauman and Ruth (Putnam) Bauman, she graduated from Troy High School class of 1955. She then married Murray Kent, who passed away in 1995. She worked for many years at the American Silk factory in Troy, PA. She is survived by her children Deb Kent of Elmira, NY, William and his wife Linda Kent of Mansfield, PA, and Dan Kent of Troy, PA, grandchildren Racheal Oomens of Huntley, IL, Ty Kent of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, and Billie Hart of Covington, PA, six great grandchildren, and a sister Lucile Bauman of Chemung County, NY. At Dorothy’s request there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. Troy, PA.
