Dennis M. Holdren

TROY - Dennis M. Holdren, Age 65, of Sylvania passed away peacefully at home on Monday June 2, 2014. Dennis was born October 31, 1949 in Williamsport son of the late Artie Marvin and Doris (Thomas) Holdren, Sr.
Family and friends are invited to call Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 11 AM to 12 PM at the Gerald W. Vickery Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. his memorial service will be held following at 12 Noon followed by Military Honors.
Dennis was a veteran of the US Army and served in Vietnam. He was awarded many medals for his combat service including the Bronze Star Medal. He was employed by Cudd Energy Services and previously worked at Parker Hannifin. He was a Lifetime Member of the Troy VFW and Member of the Morris Run VFW. Dennis enjoyed nature and riding motorcycles.
Survivors include his son and daughter in law, Terry (Jillian) Holdren of Bear DE, his loving companion Kathy Bailey of Sylvania, stepchildren, Heather Vroman of Troy, Sean Bailey of Sylvania, William Bailey of Columbia Cross Roads, Bradley Bailey of Towanda, Jonathan (Teresa) Vroman, nine brothers, Keith (Wendy) Holdren), Gary (Kim) Holdren, Randy (Kathy) Holdren, Brett (Geisela) Holdren, Darryl (Brenda) Holdren, Jeff (Mary Ann Shultz) Holdren, Jody Holdren, Artie, Jr (Delores) Holdren , three sisters, Carol (Joseph) Williams, Nora Sue Odum, Linda (Trey) Ripley, his grandchildren, Kellan Holdren, Macy Vroman, Kason Kahanu, Noah Gowan, Keano Vroman, Brock Vroman, Christopher Williams, Dakota Williams,  many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Dennis was predeceased by his parents Artie (Doris) Holdren, his mom Martha L. Holdren, a brother, Terry Holdren and sister-in-laws, Shelly Holdren and Jill Aderhold.
