Delbert C. Breese, Jr.

Delbert C. Breese, Jr., 75, of Troy, PA, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018 at the Troy Community Hospital.  He was the love husband of Helen O. (Scott) Breese. The couple married January 17, 1970 and had 48 happy years together.

Delbert was born on May 2, 1942 in Pine City, NY, son of the late Delbert C. and Florence M. (Hicks) Breese, Sr. He served his country in the US Army and worked for Schrader-Bellows  Air Valve Co. in Canton. Delbert was a member of the Troy Vets Club.

Delbert is survived by his wife Helen, his daughters Helen A. (Keith) Buck and Nellia Toomey, both of Troy, his grandchildren: Orinda Ackley, Jacob Buck, Nichole Ackley, Autumn Buck, Emily Toomey, Travis Toomey, Katelyn Toomey, and Lee Buck, his sister Mary Jane Slater of Troy, his brother David (Mary) Breese of Canton, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Donald Breese.

Family and friends are welcome to call from 12:00 -1:00 pm on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 1093 West Main Street Troy, PA.  The funeral to honor Delbert’s life will be held at the conclusion of the viewing at 1:00 pm on Thursday February 8th at the funeral home with military honors given by the Troy Veterans Honor Guard.  Burial will be private in Franklin Center Cemetery.
