Dean E. Brown

Dean E. Brown, Age 56, of Gulf Road, Troy, PA passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, May 14, 2014. Dean was born April 2, 1958 the son of Ellen (Leonard) Brown and the late Earl Brown. Dean was a graduate of Canton High School, Dean also attended trade school where he studied welding. He was employed at the Hilliard Corporation in Elmira, NY where he worked as an assembler. He attended the Victory Church in Troy. Dean found great joy in spending time with his family, riding his Harley Davidson, he rode in the Pride Ride that benefited the Toys for Tots. He liked fishing, watching the History Channel and making people laugh with his great story telling.

Survivors include his mother, Ellen Brown of Forksville, sons, Levi (Kaitlyn Hedgeland) Brown of Wellsboro, Cory (Katie) Brown of Salt Lake City, UT, a daughter Kelsey (Brandy Buchholz) Brown of Towanda, granddaughter, Parker Brown-Buchholz, a brother, Derek Brown of Scranton, sisters, Debra Leonard of Towanda, Denice (John) Keulseth of WA, nieces, nephews, special friends Melissa Wilcox of Troy and Tammy McCabe Schultz of Towanda.

Dean was predeceased by his father Earl Brown.

Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday, May 20, 2013 from 10 to 11 AM at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street, Troy, PA. Dean’s memorial service will be held following calling hours at 11 AM at the funeral home.
