Dale L. Berry, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Gillett, PA on June 11, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on March 21, 1950, in Elmira, NY, Dale lived a life full of love, family, and adventure.

Dale was known for his diligent work ethic and dedication throughout his career. He started his professional journey at the A&P Warehouse in Horseheads, NY, before contributing his skills at Paper Magic in Troy, PA. He eventually retired from Masco Cabinetry in Sayre, PA, where he left a lasting impact with his craftsmanship and commitment.

A man of many interests, Dale found joy in the great outdoors. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and boater, often spending time reloading rifle bullets and enjoyed  bow hunting. His passion for bowling was evident as he competed in the Wednesday night Men's league and Saturday doubles league, sharing camaraderie and good times with fellow bowlers. He was also a lifelong New York Giants fan, watching them play whenever he could. At home, Dale cherished feeding and watching the wildlife that surrounded his sanctuary, finding peace in nature's beauty.

Dale is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Martha E. (Mahood) Berry, who stood by his side through life's many moments. He leaves behind his loving daughter and her husband, Paula J. and Jamie Coyle of Wyalusing, PA, and his cherished grandson Nicholas Wheeler. Dale is also survived by his brother Danny Berry of Wildwood, FL, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Dawn and Richard Close of Rome, PA, along with several nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by special friends Tom Holley, Tim and Norma Leonard, and his treasured cat, Tommie, who was a constant companion. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Bernice (Vedder) Berry, and his sister Jean and her husband Ken Hoose.

In accordance with his family's wishes, services for Dale will be held privately at the convenience of Martha and the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be  made in Dale’s memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.

Dale L. Berry will be remembered fondly for his warmth, generosity, and the joy he brought to those around him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
