Clemence P. Clark, Age 75 of Springfield Road, Columbia Cross Roads, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014 at the Troy Hospital. She was born in Sayre on March 9, 1939 daughter of the late Grant & Edith (Robinson) Pardoe. Clemence and Burdette W. Clark were married on November 17, 1968 and enjoyed 45 happy years together.
Family and friends are invited to call from 10 am to 12 pm Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street, Troy, PA. Her funeral service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 12 PM with David Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Harkness Cemetery.
Clemence was a graduate of Towanda High School and was a devoted Dairy Farmer. She and Burdette worked their family farm in the Springfield Road where they still currently reside. Clemence was a devoted entirely to her family and farm, she had a deep love for her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her interests included feeding the stray cats that appeared at the farm, feeding her birds and taking care of her cows. She loved the country life and all that went with it.
Survivors include her husband Burdette Clark of Springfield Township, children, Donald (Diana) Kisner of Troy, Tina Kisner of Sayre, Leslie (Brenda) Kisner of Columbia Cross Roads, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, three brothers, one sister, a grandson Nicklas Bernat and her in-laws Raymond & Laura Clark.
Memorials in Clemence’s memory may be mad to the Animal Care Sanctuary, E. Smithfield Milan Road, East Smithfield, PA 18817.
