Christy Lee (Ricci) Sterling

Christy Lee (Ricci) Sterling, 38, of Gillett, PA passed away on Friday, June 12, 2015 at the Robert Packer Hospital. She was the loving wife of Curtis A. “Schooch” Sterling, II. The couple married December 29, 1999 and had 15 happy years together.
Christy was born on October 13, 1976 in Pottstown, PA, daughter of the late Vincent C. Ricci, Jr. She was a graduate of Troy High School, Class of 1995 and was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Horseheads, NY. Christy was a wonderful cook and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Christy is survived by her husband Schooch, her daughters Kaylee Sterling with boyfriend Harold Stone and Emili Sterling, her granddaughter Aaleigha Stone, her sisters Brandi (Jesse) Stryker of Gillett, PA, and Kim Haas of Douglasville, PA, her brother Vincent C. (Lori) Ricci, III of Douglasville, PA, her aunt Mary Jane (Mike) Hartman and their son Michael, her in-laws Curtis A. and Joie Sterling, Sr., her nieces Ashlee Stryker and Sheena (Seth) Barnes, her nephew Justin Stryker, her cousin Daniel (Melissa) Shaffer and their children, along with several other nieces, nephews, and family on the Sterling side.
Services will be private and at the convenience of Christy’s family. The Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street Troy, PA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
