Christopher M Harrington

Christopher M. Harrington, 42, of Gillett, PA passed away unexpectedly at home due to a medical condition.  He was the husband of Jan M. (Steves) Harrington whom he married on August 16, 2003.

Chris was born on January 23, 1972 in Troy, PA son of Dave Harrington and Kay (Nagle) Seymour.  He worked on the gas wells for Godwin as a Pipe Tech.  Chris had several memberships including: The South Creek Fire Company and Ambulance, Ridgebury Sportsman’s Club, The Gillett Boys, and the NRA.   He enjoyed hunting and riding four wheelers.

Chris is survived by his wife Jan, his son John Liddle III, his mother Kay and stepfather Keith Seymour of Erin, NY, his brothers and sisters: Jason (Jodie Bodine) Robbins of Trumansburg, NY, Jodi Robbins of Ithaca, NY, Theresa (john) Howe of Tallahassee, FL, Keith (Sandy) Seymour Jr. of Horseheads, NY, Lisa Robbins-Brown of Waverly, NY, Joseph Seymour of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, and Kim (Jason) Blayda of Candor, NY, his mother in law Sharon Steves of Gillett, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and his canine companions: Dexter and Crixus.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents Herb and Norma Nagle and his father in law Thomas Steves.

Family and friends are welcome to gather from 5:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday October 22, 2014 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street Troy, PA. The funeral service to honor Chris’s life will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday evening October 22nd at the funeral home with family friend Rev. Ozzie Osgood officiating.  The graveside committal service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Bradford County Memorial Park along Route 6 in Luther’s Mills, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made in Chris’s memory to the South Creek Fire Company 6428 Roaring Run Rd, Gillett, PA 16925.
