Brett A. Scrafford

Brett A. Scrafford, Age 46, of Troy, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015 in Painted Post, NY. Brett was born August 16, 1968 in Westchester, PA son of the late John and Nancy (Mulvaney) Foreman. He was a graduate of Troy High School and attended Corning Community College. He was currently employed by Gannon Associates as an Insurance Sales Representative. Brett was a talented individual who loved music. He was a gifted organist that played in the Savona, Bath and Addison Episcopal Churches. He also played at services at the Corning Methodist Church and Church of Christ in Canton, PA. He was previously active in the Troy Drama Club where he directed the play Oklahoma in the new auditorium. He traveled extensively and enjoyed his trips to France, Italy, Spain, Africa, Egypt, Malta, Alaska and many other places.
Family and friends are invited to call Monday, August 17, 2015 from 4 to 6 PM at the Church of Christ, 170 North Minnequa Avenue, Canton, PA 17724. Brett’s memorial service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 6 PM with Reverend Bonnie L. Browning officiating.
Survivors include his siblings, Randy & Jean Scrafford of Coatesville, PA, Jennifer “Beth” Chapman of Burlington, MicKenzie & Geri Scrafford of Parksburgh, PA, Carol & John Wentworth of Honeybrook, PA, his loving companion, Ken Hodder of Troy, nieces and nephews, Tonya & Eric Ballard, Malcom & Rayme Mulvaney, Jeremiah Chapman, Heather Scrafford, John & Katie Wentworth, Lisa Wentworth, Kelly & Melvin Rountree, Kyle, Ryan and Lynzi Rountree, many great-nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorials in Brett’s memory may be made to the Gerald W. Vickery Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street, Troy, PA 16947 to help defray the cost of final expenses.
