Ann Patricia Zurn Roy

Ann Patricia (Hibbard) Zurn Roy, of Gillett, PA, a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026, in Troy, Pennsylvania, at the age of 90. Born on April 28, 1936, in New Albany, PA, she brought warmth and kindness to all who knew her throughout her long and fulfilling life.

Ann devoted many years as an Avon salesperson, building lasting relationships with her clients through her genuine care and dedication. She later served as a caregiver at the Phyl-Carlo Retirement Center in Gillett, where her compassionate nature touched the lives of countless residents.

Ann was also a member of the Gillett Baptist Church, and her greatest joy was her family, with whom she loved spending time at home. where her faith was a guiding light in her life.

She is survived by her loving husband, James LaRue Roy, whom she married on September 30, 1971. Her legacy continues through her children: Kathryn Ann Zurn of Gillett, Charles Zurn of Gillett, Joseph (Nancy) Zurn of Fassett, PA, Robin (Kevin) Ritenior of Berlin, OH, Michael (Valerie) Zurn of Florida, Patti (Robert) Jordon of Golf Breeze, FL, and Kimberly Roy of Florida. Ann also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss her dearly. Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Cherick Mason and Gladys (Rogers) Hibbard; her first husband, Charles Dawan Zurn; and several beloved brothers and sisters.

Private services will be held at the convenience of Ann's family, honoring her life and the profound impact she made on those around her. The Gerald W. Vickery Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., has been entrusted with the arrangements.
