Amanda Ruth Barlow (Gialanella)

Amanda Ruth Barlow (Gialanella), 53, of Ulster, PA, passed away tragically on Friday, January 9, 2015 near her home.

Amanda was born on November 4, 1961 in Red Bank, New Jersey, daughter of Richard R. Barlow, III, of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, and the late Kathryn Halligan.  She was a breeder of Golden Retrievers and enjoyed horses and horseback riding.

Amanda is survived by her father Rich, her children Richard Barlow of Tuckerton, NJ, and Danyel Hirshles of Glen Allen, VA, her two grandchildren Greenleigh and Mason Barlow, her sisters: Kathleen (George) Owenburg of Troy, PA, Denise (Michael) Lewis and Regina Barlow, both of Virginia, and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her mother and her daughter Ashley.

Family and friends are welcome to call from 2:00-3:00 PM on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street Troy, PA.  The Memorial Service to honor Amanda’s life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 24th at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in Amanda’s memory to Richard Barlow, III 1094 Oldroyd Road Columbia Cross Roads, PA 14914 to help defray the cost of the funeral.
