Alton L. Case, 83, of Troy, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025.
Born on March 13, 1942, in Troy, he was the son of Nelson and Marion (Inman) Case.
Alton was a graduate of Troy High School, class of 1960.
On June 14, 1960, at the Baptist Church in Leroy, Alton married Joyce Krise, who he loved and cherished for 65 years.
He was a member of the Independent Baptist Church in Towanda where he taught Sunday School for several years.
Alton was employed at Canton MFG. for several years until his retirement in 2004.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce, of Troy, two daughters Janice Kelley, of Willard, MO, Mike Kelley of Pleasant Hope, MO and Sherrie (Bob Voda) Mallow, of Rome, PA, grandchildren: Shawn (Joe Reinhard) Kelley, Nathan Kelley, Kyle Mallow, Kristin (Adam) Carrington, Kurtis (Taylor) Mallow, great-grandchildren: Cameron (April) Kelley, Hunter, Nahmy, Hannah, and Kalvin Kelley, Charlie and Lily Carrington, and Maverick and Mila Mallow, and great great grandson Easton Kelley, sister Geraldine Lewis Stevenson and brother Robert (Dorna) Case, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Alton was preceded in death by his parents, brother Glen Case and four siblings at birth.
Friends and family are invited to a time of visitation on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 12-1PM, with a funeral service to follow at 1PM, at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. 1093 West Main St., Troy, PA, 16947. Burial will take place at the Glenwood Cemetery, Troy, PA.
