Dr. Aaron William Wagner, Dds

Aaron William "Bill" Wagner, DDS, longtime dentist in Troy, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2024, in Wellsboro, PA, at the age of 78. Born on March 31, 1946, in Brooklyn, New York, son of the late Joseph and Pearl (Friedlander) Wagner. He graduated from Brooklyn College and went on to earn his degree in dentistry from the University of Buffalo School of Dentistry, Class of 1971. He dedicated his professional life to serving the Twin Tiers region as a respected dentist for many years. He was Jewish by faith.

Dr. Wagner is survived by his significant other, Alma Chapman of Troy, PA, and his son, Thomas J. "TJ" Wagner of Pittsburgh, PA. He also leaves behind his brother-in-law, Larry Scherr, and nieces and nephew, Elana, Mira, and Daniel, all residing in California. In addition, Bill will be fondly remembered by his special friends Cindy and Dennis Crandle, Joe and Kathy Mignano, Lyle Mosher, Arden Ellenberger, Mary Buck, and Mike and Stacey Beemer. Dr. Wagner was preceded in death by his parents; the late Joseph and Pearl (Friedlander) Wagner and his sister, Roslyn.

A visitation will be held from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the Troy Sale Barn, 50 Ballard St., Troy, PA 16947. The service to celebrate Dr. Wagner's life will follow at 2:00 PM at the same location, officiated by Pastors Jody Kenyon and Vern Jackson. The Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. Troy, PA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
