Theodore "Ted" E. Lee

Theodore E. “Ted” Lee, 86, of Springfield, PA passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at his home.  He was the loving husband of the late Wanda Jean (Craig) Lee who passed away on January 6, 2008.  The couple married July 1, 1955 and had 52 happy years together.

Ted was born on August 10, 1931 in Springfield, son of the late Ona and Katie (Leonard) Lee. He was a Troy High School graduate and a lifelong farmer.  Ted enjoyed bowling and bowled in the Monday Night League at Terrace Lanes. He also enjoyed hunting and riding in his jeep. 

Ted is survived by his children: Richard Dean (Barbara) Craig, Steve (Annette) Lee, and Penny (Joe) Kenyon, grandchildren: Jon (Summer) Craig, Michael (Brittany) Craig, Kendra (Kip) Seaver, Danielle Congdon, Christopher (Jackie) Lee, Jessica (Emily) Lee, Eric (Greta) Kenyon, Jason Lee, 14 great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.  Ted was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jean, his sisters and brothers: Minnie Nenninger, William Lee, Sybil Lee, and Louis Lee.

Family and friends are welcome to call from 11:00 am-12:00 pm on Monday, November 13, 2017 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 1093 West Main Street Troy, PA.  The funeral to honor Ted’s life will be held at the conclusion of the viewing at 12:00 pm on Monday, November 13th at the funeral with family friend Rev. George Ogden officiating.  Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
