Ronnie (Ron) E. Campbell, age 69, of Baptist Hill Road, Columbia Cross Roads passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Robert Packer Hospital. Ronnie was born November 21, 1947 in Troy, PA son of the late James and Florence (Weed) Campbell. He was a graduate of Troy High School. Ronnie and the former Emily A. Cole were married September 9, 1966 and celebrated 50 years of marriage this past year. Ronnie and Emily enjoyed traveling to Alaska, Arizona, Cozumel Mexico and several other places. He could always be found working on a project in his garage.  Ronnie was retired from Fairway Spring in Horseheads, NY. In his spare time he enjoyed making maple syrup, horseback riding, fishing, playing horseshoes, camping and spending time with his loving family.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years Emily A. Campbell of Columbia Cross Roads, two daughters and sons-in-law, Shelly (John) Hardenstine of East Smithfield, Rhonda (Thomas) Nowacoski of Springfield, a son and daughter-in-law, Isaac (Valine) Campbell of Columbia Cross Roads, his seven grandchildren who he adored, Johnecca (Kasey) Fusare and Olivia Hardenstine, Hayden, Paige, Joshua and Ethan Nowacoski, Saylor Campbell, a brother and sister-in-law, Duane (Sharon) Campbell of Tioga, sisters Jean Wrisley of Troy, Beverly Selleck of Granville, Alberta Burnside of Ulster, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Ronnie was also survived by his dog “Cricket”

Ronnie was predeceased by his parents and his brother Phillip Campbell.

Family and friends are invited to call from 2 to 3 PM Saturday June 3, 2017 at the Troy Fellowship Bible Church, 121 Mud Creek Road, Troy, PA 16947. A memorial service to honor his life will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 3 PM with Rev. Jay Zaremba officiating.
