Quentin F. Summers, Jr.

Quentin F. Summers, Jr, Age 70, of Troy, PA passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019 at home with his family at his side. Quentin was born December 6, 1948 in Elmira, NY son of the late Quentin F. & Elizabeth M. (MacKinster) Summers, Sr. He was a graduate of SRU high school. He and the former Emily B. Eisenhower were married July 10, 1971 and would have celebrated 48 years together. He was formerly employed by Growmark Agricultural Supply in Towanda. Quentin was an avid runner, running in many 5K, 10K and marathons in New York and Pennsylvania. He also enjoyed biking, riding snowmobiles, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his loving wife Emily B. Summers of Troy, a son, Nathan Summers of Troy, a daughter Chanda Summers of Longwood, FL, two sisters, Quenta M. Butters of Bentley Creek, Della A. Perry of Osage City, KS, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Quentin was predeceased by his parents and two sisters Dorna Coe and Roberta DuVall.

Family and friends are invited to call from 1 to 2 PM Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the Springfield Baptist Church, 3093 Springfield Road, Columbia Cross Roads, PA 16914. A service of remembrance will be held following calling hours at 2 PM at the church with Pastor Dan Graham officiating. The family would like to invite those attending for ice cream and pie in the fellowship hall following the service.
