June F. Pepper

June Pepper, 87, departed this life on Monday, November 20, 2017. June, formerly Rice, grew up in Canton, PA, and later resided near Leroy where she with her husband Rancy, raised their children, Rancy, Crissa and Melody.  In 1986, when Rancy retired from Westinghouse after 24 years, he and June moved to Florida where they enjoyed life in their new home near St. Augustine for a number of years.  Rancy passed in June of 1999 and a year later June moved to Interlochen, FL to be nearer her daughter Crissa.

In failing health, June returned to Pennsylvania where she has resided at the Bradford County Manor since November of 2015.

Among the many things June cherished beside her family was a love of flower gardening, camping, traveling (occasionally on the back of a motorcycle). June had a great fondness for animals, a keen eye for beauty with a strong gift for free hand sketching.  She also loved to bake and prepare excellent meals and was skilled in sewing and crocheting. She retired from Paper Magic in 1986 prior to moving to Florida.

June was predeceased by her beloved husband of fifty years, Rancy in 1999, her three year old great grandson Tyler Swartz in 2000, and three half-sisters Jill, Sally, and Marilyn.

June is survived by a daughter Diana (Larry) Ward of Troy, PA, son Rancy (Pat) of Granville Summit, PA, daughter Crissa (David) Smith of Interlochen, FL, and daughter Melody Pepper of Newport, PA. She also leaves eight grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren.

There will be a memorial gathering for family at a future date at the discretion of the family. The Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 1093 West Main Street Troy, PA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
