June, formerly Rice, grew up in Canton, PA, and later resided near Leroy where she with her husband Rancy, raised their children, Rancy, Crissa and Melody. Among the many things June cherished beside her family was a love of flower gardening, camping, traveling (occasionally on the back of a motorcycle). June had a great fondness for animals, a keen eye for beauty with a strong gift for free hand sketching. She also loved to bake and prepare excellent meals and was skilled in sewing and crocheting. She retired from Paper Magic in 1986 prior to moving to Florida.
June was predeceased by her beloved husband of fifty years, Rancy in 1999, her three year old great grandson Tyler Swartz in 2000, and three half-sisters Jill, Sally, and Marilyn.
