Jeffrey L. Martinell

Jeffrey Martinell, 71, of Troy and formerly Tannersville, PA, died on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at home. He was the husband of Bonnie (Belcher) Martinell with whom he shared 50 years of marriage with on October 14, 2017. He was the son of the late Louis and Helen (Matzoni) Martinell of Scotrun, PA. Born in Brooklyn on February 19, 1946, his parents moved to Scotrun in 1947. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Daniel Martinell of Tannersville, and his daughters, Becky (Cliff) Rigby of Sylvania and Tara Martinell of Tannersville, a step-grandson, LCpl Rob Rigby of Camp Lejeune, NC, a step-granddaughter, Kelly Rigby of Wisconsin and brother Ronald (Judith) Martinell of Scotrun, PA, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jeffrey was predeceased by his parents and a niece Christine Peterson.
