Galen C. Yoder, Age 63, of Route 6 Troy, PA passed away Friday evening at Robert Packer Hospital. Galen was born April 28, 1954 in Sellersville, PA son of Clyde Yoder and the late Lydia (Detweiler) Yoder. He was a graduate of Christopher Dock High School. On November 1, 1975 he and the former Deborah J. Moyer were married and celebrated 42 years together. Galen was employed by MASCO Electrical as an Industrial Electrician. For the past several years he and Deb have operated their Beef Farm on Route 6 in Troy working together and along with their late loving daughter Charrissa L. Yoder.
Survivors include his wife Deborah J. Yoder of Troy, his father Clyde Yoder, three sisters, Delphine Michels of Quakertown, Sandra Horst of Reading, Gladys Brand of Sellersville, a brother, Dean Yoder of Souderton, four nieces and nephews.
Galen was predeceased by his mother and daughter Charrissa L. Yoder on January 29, 2016.
A funeral and committal service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Sylvania Presbyterian Church, Route 6 Sylvania, PA 16945 with Reverend Bill Bardo officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Glenwood Cemetery, Troy, PA.
