When i lost my husband Dan was more than helpful and took so much time to make sure everything i wanted was handled. His kindness didn't stop at that point, i was alone and he was by my side thru the whole funeral, guided me thru the service thru the grave side ceremony and thru the gathering after the service. Had he not done all that extra i'm sure i would have been totally lost. He kindness didn't stop on that day, for weeks afterwards he made contact to make sure i was ok and if there was anything more he or the staff could do to help me. This is exactly what is needed at a time when you have all you can do to keep your thoughts straight.

The managers are compassionate and helpful. They are knowledgeable about immediate needs of family and are informed about social security and automobile transfers. I particularly appreciated the photo prepared for the viewing and as a keepsake. Follow up call was appreciated. Managers treated arrangements as a calling not simply as a business transaction - I would recommend Vickery Funeral home to folks in the Troy PA area.

Dan was outstanding to work with. He removed many of my worries and cares during this time.

All went above and beyond their regular duties. Mr. Gilliand was very kind, courteous and helpful even staying late to get mother's obituary sent out to meet the deadline. Even though mother has all arranged, there were still lose ends to tie up and Dan explained it all so well.
I believe folks went beyond normal what was required of a business. It was an extremely hot day but all were dressed very professionally and made sure cold water was supplied to family and friends. Everyone was very knowledgeable.
