Philip H. Tangeman

Troy, PA - Philip H Tangeman died June 27, 2016 at the age of 78.  He was the loving husband of Carol (Scheaf) Tangeman.  The couple married September 8, 1962 and had 53 wonderful years together.

Mr. Tangeman was born in Worthington, OH, in 1938.  He graduated from Worthington High School in 1956 and Middlebury College in 1960 as a Delta Kappa Epsilon (DKE) Brothers.  He spent his career in sales.

He leaves his beloved wife of 53 years, Carol (Scheaf) Tangeman; his daughter Lisa Eno and her husband Christopher Eno of Pocono Lake, PA; his daughter Karen Kelley and her husband Douglas Kelley of Collegeville, PA; his sister Susan Carter and her husband Phil Carter of Columbus, OH; and his sister Sally Martin and her husband Bill Martin of Ann Arbor, MI.

He had a passion for the outdoors, specifically for boating and swimming in the NY Finger Lakes.

Services are private and will be held at the convenience of Phil’s family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street, Troy, PA.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Phil’s memory to the Allen F Pierce Free Library 34 Fenner Ave, Troy, PA 16947 or to the American Heart Association 2 S Clinton St #305, Syracuse, NY 13202.
