Margaret B. "Beth" Baldwin

Margaret B. “Beth” Baldwin, 76, of Burlington Township, Bradford County, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the Bradford County Manor.  She was the loving wife of Alfred D. “Al” Baldwin.  The couple married in 1987 and had 28 happy years together.

Beth was born November 19, 1939 in Wyalusing, PA, daughter of the late Madeline L. (Swain) Cady.  She grew up in Troy, PA, and graduated from Troy High School in 1957, then went on to Pauldine’s Beauty School and worked as a hairdresser for many years in New York State.  In 1983 Beth graduated from Corning Community College with a degree in Accounting and worked for the New York State Department of Corrections at Camp Montery.  She also worked for H&R Block, volunteered in the Troy school system, at the Troy Fair, at Troy Community Hospital, and for Relay For Life.  Beth was a member of the East Troy Baptist Church and the Troy Community Hospital Auxiliary. 

Beth is survived by her husband Al, her daughters Marilyn (Michael) Lepak and Mary Beth (Dave Barto) MacIntyre, both of Elmira, her granddaughter Emily Pike, her step children: Wayne and Ellen Baldwin of Troy, Loretta and Greg Bruce of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, Sonya and Wayne Morgan of Troy, Deanna and Bill Morgan of Mainesburg, PA, Dale Baldwin, Gyla and Jamey Hoose of Columbia Cross Roads, and Kara and Dale Byrd of Troy, her sisters-in-law Alice Cady and Barbara Baldwin, three nieces, and special friends Kim and Chuck Lattimer along with their daughter Kaylee Lattimer.

Beth was preceded in death by her mother Madeline Cady, her brother Kenneth Cady, and her brother-In-Law Howard G. Baldwin.

Family and friends are welcome to call from 1:00-2:00 pm on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street Troy, PA.  The memorial service to honor Beth’s life will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 2:00 pm on Thursday February 11th at the funeral home with her pastor and friend, Rev. Garry Zuber, officiating.  Interment will be at the convenience of Beth’s family in Hilton Cemetery.
