Jeffrey G. Seelye

Jeffrey G. Seelye, 20, of Sylvania, PA, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 at his home.  Jeff was born on July 15, 1995 in Sayre, PA, son of Earl J. Seelye of Sugar Branch Lake and Catherine (Clark) Seelye of Sylvania, PA.  He attended Troy High School and was Christian by faith.  He enjoyed gaming on his X-Box, fishing, and camping with his family. 

Jeff is survived by his parents Earl J. Seelye and Catherine (Dan Worden) Seelye of Sylvania, his daughter Kennedy, his step children Latreya and Tyler Barrett, His brother Sherman Payne of Washington State and his sister Michele (Robert) Boyer of Towanda, grandmother Phyllis Seelye of Lawrenceville, uncles and aunts: Greg (Carol) Button of Lawrenceville, PA, Mike (Karline) Clark of South Dakota, Brian Seelye of Blossburg, PA, Phyllis Parker of Galeton, PA, Melonie Smith of New York State, and Kathleen Seelye of Lawrenceville, several other nieces nephews and cousins, and special friends Kelly and Brandi Fitzwater and Austin and Abbigayl Brown.

Jeff was preceded in death by his great grandparents Herbert and Ruth Well, his grandmother Florence “Toots” Clark, his grandfathers Art Clark and James Seelye, and “Grandma Connie Lee”.

Family and friends are welcome to call from 1:00-3:00 pm on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at the Sylvania Church of Christ 2486 Sylvania Rd., Troy, PA.  The service will follow viewing at 3:00 pm at the church with Rev. George Ogden officiating.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 1093 West Main Street, Troy, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made in Jeff’s memory to the American Cancer Society 1948 E 3rd St Williamsport, PA 17701 or American Diabetes Association 1701 North Beauregard Street Alexandria, VA 22311 and Jeff’s family invites everyone to the “Walk In My Shoes” Walk for the prevention of suicides on May 7, 2016 at Alpron Park in Troy, PA.
